Jon moved from Eastpointe, MI in 1992 to pursue a career in racing. He experienced success for various teams and independent engine builders – including 2 back-to-back Truck Series Championships. While excelling in his field he had been attending Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary working on a Masters Degree in Divinity. God intervened and called him to pastor an outreach for the racing community called Monday Night Church. With the ministry fully established Jon joined The Cede team in 2011 as Director of Operations. Jon and his wife Christie have five children and a grandbaby boy.
